Christmas Time

Christmas memories are my absolute favorite thing in the entire world.

Every year we have so many traditions that I get so excited for..

so I thought I would share some!
1.Go to my favorite resturant, Asahi for Christmas Eve dinner, sounds odd..but SO many people here do it! Every year we see the same people there:)

2. Look all around town at the pretty christmas lights, best one so far? In Highland Pointe, I'm sure anyone who has seen the house knows exactly what I am talking about!

3. Open Christmas p.j's on Christmas Eve..Christmas wouldnt be the same without them!

So those are just a few of our family Christmas traditions, there are SO many though. One of my favorite Christmas pasttimes is decorating the tree and talking about all of the memories associated with each ornament.

Christmas is in less than one week. I cannot believe it! I also have to share some exciting news:) I made over a 3.0 this semester! I know thats not that great to some, but freshman year I didn't do my best..and this semester was difficult beyond belife. So last semester I got a 3.66, this semester 3.0:) Oh and I am transferring to UGA next fall!

..big change? I think so!

Here are some pictures of some Christmas festivities so far:)

This house is in Highland Pointe, on top of the big hill, there are SO many lights:)

Our Christmas tree! We always get a realy one:) Christmas wouldnt be the same without it!
Thats all for now:)

First Blog:)

Today I decided I needed to start a blog. So here it goes! First off I guess I should intruce myself and why I am starting this blog. I am Christie Huber, and I am a Junior at the University of Alabama. I cannot wait to graduate, but I am scared to grow up. I am twenty years old, and it still freaks me out to say that I am actually twenty years old. I have so many goals that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years, and hopefully I can share them through this blog whenever they are accomplished. I try to live life with no regrets and make the most out of my remaining years of college. I hope to upload tons of pictures, tell stories, and share memories. Here it goes!!

This is my boyfriend of two years, Wil..this picture was taken at an football game freshman year:) Interesting fact about me? I do not like football in the least, he however..is obsessed. He is graduating at the end of the summer, and I am so excited to see where life takes him. I am so glad I found him in my life. I love him:)

My best friends are so important to me. I have never been the person that needs tons of friends to be happy. As long as I have a few best friends that are like siblings to me I am the happiest person in the world. My best guy friend is Paul Beck. He is literally like a sibling. In fact, he lived with me and my family our senior year of high school. He means so much to me and I don't know where I would be without him. This picture is from a cruise we went on together this summer:) Interesting fact? Hes so much like a sibling to me and my family me, him, my brother and sister all led my parents in renewing their vows this summer:):)

Since my sophomore year in high school, I have known Taylor Elizabeth Wright. We cheered together for 3 years, and have been best friends ever since. Ever heard the quote "A true friend walks in when all the rest walk out"? Im pretty sure that was written for the two of us. She is one of those kinds of best friends that no matter what, she will always be there for me and have my back. We are wierd as hell when were together but always have the best times. We were roommates for two years, but now she is livin the life at the University of Georgia. Shes strong, beautiful and the most amazing friend anyone could ask for.
Next is Lindsey York. Together we are two of the most adventurous people you will ever meet. Wether its from getting pulled over at Bryce Mental Hospital or seeing a huge cloud of smoke and driving all around Tuscaloosa to find where it is coming from. We do the most random things ever and I am glad to call her one of my best friends:)

Last but certainly not least is Ashley and Tony huber. My little sister and brother. Ashley is a senior in high school, and Tony is a freshman in high school, time has flown by. We get into fights alot but all of the memories with them last a lifetime. They are two of my best friends and I don't know what I would do without them.

I hope this first blogpost went well, because it was so much fun to make!!

Love,
Christie
